KAZ & AKIE IINUMA
Kaz was born and raised in Japan where less than 1% are believers. He was fortunate to be raised by Christian parents. At the age of 15, Kaz moved to North Carolina where he attended high school. He then moved on to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, majoring in Mathematics. Though Kaz was raised in a Christian home, his relationship with Jesus began in his college years.
For the next 6 years, Kaz was involved in a church plant, campus ministry, and missions trip where he received a call to full-time ministry. He received a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics, married to his wife, had their first child, then moved to L.A. for 6 months for the Every Nation School of Campus Ministry. On the way back from L.A. in the summer of 2004, God called Kaz and his family to move to New York City.
They arrived in December of 2004 with a vision to serve Every Nation Church NYC and to reach the Japanese community with the Gospel. His role within the church has shifted from Campus Ministry, Finance & Admin, Children’s Ministry, and Missions. Since 2016, Kaz has served as the Executive Pastor. With all the shifts and transitions, his calling and vision have always stayed the same. Kaz and Akie, his wife, is honored to serve the people in New York City alongside their four children Miyu, Cana, Masa, and Hiko.
KENNY SANBORN
Kenny gave his life to Jesus when he was 13 years old. The following year he went on his first mission trip where God called him to full-time vocational ministry.
He has continued in missions ever since by helping organize trips to nations including Nicaragua, Taiwan, and Pakistan. He has served as a Campus Minister, Evangelist, and Missions Coordinator by training and activating believers to engage others through the power of the Gospel.
In addition to serving alongside Pastor Nathan Lewis at our Every Nation NYC PM service, Kenny works to activate and develop Every Nation Church NYC leaders to walk in their spiritual gifts
NATHAN AND AILSA LEWIS
Nathan and Ailsa have been partnering in ministry since their single days in college when they led outreach to teenagers together. A marriage, six years as lead pastors in Scotland, two children, and an international move later, they still love working together to bring people closer to Jesus.
Originally from North Carolina, Nathan has a Master of Arts in Divinity from the University of Edinburgh and a post-graduate degree in Missions in an Urbanizing World from the University of Aberdeen. With over 10 years of pastoral experience, Nathan still loves making disciples.
A native of Scotland, Ailsa has degrees in English Literature and History of Art and Education both from the University of Edinburgh. She loves writing, teaching, and helping people experience a real and authentic relationship with Jesus.
God called the Lewis family to New York City in 2017 to reach the lost, develop leaders, and grow churches. Committed to ‘the greatest city in the world’, Nathan and Ailsa cannot wait to see how God continues to move in NYC and bring more people into his family.
RANDY AND SELENE DE LOS SANTOS
In 2004, Selene and Randy moved to New York City in pursuit of their college degrees. Selene moved from Pennsylvania to study Acting at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. At a rehearsal, she came to Christ. A few years later she became involved in campus ministry at Hunter College. Selene graduated from The New School. This is where God called her to be a campus minister! Randy moved from the Philippines to study Pharmacy at St. John’s University. He became involved in campus ministry for six years. This experience built his foundation in the Lord and planted the desire to see college campuses be a place where God reigns. As a result, for eight years, Randy was a Pharmacist by day and a voluntary campus missionary by night.
Today, Randy and Selene are living in Harlem with their two spunky kids and ministering to college students in the influential New York City! They are not only changing their lives for Jesus but also have the opportunity to positively influence their families, careers, and the culture of our society. Their mission is to help NYC college students KNOW God, LIVE for Jesus, and CHANGE the world!
RAZZEL REMIENDO
Razzel Remiendo is from Baguio City, Philippines. While on her college campus, she heard students radically preaching about God. She was invited to attend a seminar called “Rock & Roll: A Search for God.” There she had an encounter with the Message of the Gospel, that Jesus died the death she deserved and took her place so she can have eternal life. That was the day Razzel realized she is special and loved by God. Ever since that time, she has been involved in ministering to her family, friends, school mates, and strangers.
Razzel has a burden to share what she received. In her years serving the Lord, she has discipled and mentored women to go to the missions field, make an impact in their workplaces, and even in their families. She is also a part of church planting endeavors. It has been a journey of shared lives and reaching out to the next generation and leaving a legacy.
Razzel’s goal is to continue to be a significant voice wherever God places her. The Lord has made a way for her to be part of His work here in New York City. Her ministry vision is to honor God and continue to make disciples. Everything Razzel does is for the honor and glory of God. She will disciple using her gifts and talents. As the scripture says in 1 Peter 4:10 “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
